Devoted wife, Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Teresa D. Pepe, 88 of Nutley, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 at her home. Born in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Vita Marie (Annacharico) Pugliese. Mrs. Pepe was raised in Belleville and lived there before coming to Nutley 68 years ago. She was a manager at the Nutley Clean Scene before retiring. A devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph John Pepe, her son, Joseph David Pepe and her daughter, Joann De Barbieri. Teresa is survived by her son, John J. Pepe and his wife, Linda, her daughter-in-law, Muriel Pepe and her son-in-law, John De Barbieri. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and was also predeceased by her 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley on Tuesday July 17 at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
