Obituary for Umile Gencarelli

Umile Gencarelli of Belleville, passed away on Monday May 29, 2017 at his home. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Carmela (Molinaro) Gencarelli. Mr. Gencarelli lived in Newark before coming to Belleville in 1985 and was a wire weaver with Nessar Allora Corp. in West Caldwell before retiring. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Giuseppina, he is survived by his loving children, Giuseppe Gencarelli, Gemma Gencarelli, Emilio Gencarelli, Luigi Gencarelli and Maria Canova. He also leaves 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Funeral from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home 267 Centre St. Nutley on Thursday June 1 at 9:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, Nutley at 10:30 am followed by entombment at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visiting will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-9 pm.
