Obituary for Vincent R. Barberio

Member of the Society of the First Infantry Division
Vincent R. Barberio, of Nutley, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his home. Born in Elizabeth, the son of the late Vincent J. & Florence (Dunn) Barberio, he lived in Elizabeth and Belleville prior to moving to Nutley 32 years ago. He was a graduate of Roselle Park High School. He retired as an Insurance Agent from EMAR Group, Inc. in Livingston. An Army Veteran, Vincent was a member of The Society of the First Infantry Division and a member of the American Legion Post #70 in Nutley.
The loving father of the late Katherine Barberio, he is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine A. (Lee) Barberio; his son, William; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Ashley & Matthew and a sister, Patricia Pollock.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Nutley at 10 a.m.
The entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in No. Arlington.
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
